Sputnik: Germany to Ban Russian Bikers From Organizing WWII Victory Rally to Berlin
The Russian biker-club "Night Wolves" decided to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Soviet victory over fascism by organizing a bike journey from Moscow to Berlin. However, German authorities will not permit the club to drive to the German capital, according to the German newspaper “Die Welt”.
Berlin authorities will not give the Russian biker club "Night Wolves” permission to organize a bike tour in honor of the Allied victory in World War II, the German newspaper “Die Welt” reported, citing a source in the German law enforcement service.
The service has not yet received a special request from the biker-club to cross the country’s capital, which is mandatory in such cases. However, the answer will be negative anyway, a source told the newspaper.
