Wall Street Journal: Ukraine Accuses Russia of Sending More Weapons to Separatists
Violence continues to subside after cease-fire deal reached last week.
MOSCOW—Ukraine accused Russia of sending more tanks and other weapons across the border to pro-Moscow separatists fighting Kiev’s troops, although officials said violence continued to subside Friday after a cease-fire deal was reached last week.
The truce, brokered by the leaders of France and Germany in a marathon summit in Minsk, Belarus, on Feb. 12, hasn't yet taken full effect, but fighting has subsided in recent days after separatist forces Wednesday drove Kiev’s troops from the strategic rail hub of Debaltseve, which had seen some of the fiercest combat.
