Egypt court sentences prominent activist to five years in jail

CAIRO (Reuters) - An Egyptian court sentenced prominent activist Alaa Abdel Fattah to five years in jail on Monday for violating a law that seeks to curtail demonstrations, legislation branded repressive by rights groups.
