Somali Islamist rebels say attacking main African Union base in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU (Reuters) - Somali Islamist militant group al Shabaab attacked the main African Union (AU) peacekeeping base in the capital Mogadishu on Thursday, the group's military spokesman said.
