Prosecutors to probe payout to Hong Kong leader amid protest crisis

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Hong Kong's Justice Department handed the investigation of a $6.4 million business payout to city leader Leung Chun-ying to prosecutors on Thursday as political fallout grows from mass protests calling for democracy in the Chinese-controlled city.
