Catalonia suspends formal campaign on Spain independence vote

MADRID (Reuters) - Catalonia's regional government said on Tuesday it would temporarily suspend formal campaigning for a referendum on independence from Spain, after Madrid filed a legal appeal to stop the vote taking place.
