Bloomberg: Ukraine Forces Retake Most of Donetsk Airport, Government Says
WNU Editor: Some Ukrainian news outlets are boasting that this is the biggest tank attack since WWII .... Ukraine army starts active operations. Biggest tank attack since WWII (ZIK.ua) .... on Ukraine soil this is probably definitely true. But what is more ominous is that I am reading reports that the Ukraine Army now has orders to resume active military operations .... in short .... the ceasefire is now OFFICIALLY dead. Expect the conflict and the heavy bombardment of the cities to escalate, and what concerns me even more is what will Moscow now do .... they are denouncing the bombardment of the residential areas, but I suspect that they are going to respond in kind .... so expect reports of heavy bombardment of Ukraine military positions in the next day or two (if not already). I also expect the casualty count to sky-rocket .... winter battles always bring about high casualties .... and I also expect the humanitarian crisis to for over a million civilians trapped by the conflict to now become dire.
